Recovery is the missing link when it comes to advancing the human body. The Alpha Recovery Lounge has been created to fill the gap of that missing link between training and performance. The Recovery lounge provides a speedy recovery from the riggers of training and performance. Using Normatec and Power Play Cold compression tools to increase blood circulation and help the body get rid of accumulated waste in muscles faster and more efficiently than the body normally can on its own. The result is that muscles heal and recover faster.
A growing number of pro teams, national organizations, and elite institutions have now constructed dedicated Recovery Rooms in their training facilities. Overlooking the main training floor in the upper mezzanine, the Alpha Recovery Lounge provides 30-minute recovery sessions using our Normatec and Power Play systems featured below. Norma Tec Pulse Recovery System
NormaTec is innovative technology that uses air pressure massage to relieve muscle aches and/or pain and to temporarily increase circulation to the treated areas.
Pneumatic compression increases blood circulation and helps your body get rid of accumulated waste in your muscles faster and more efficiently than your body normally can. The result is that your muscles heal and recover faster.
Our NormaTec System features compression Leg and Hip units used in our recovery recliners.
Power Play Compression System
The Alpha Recovery Lounge will feature PowerPlay Cold compression therapy units
The PowerPlay system is designed to combine the benefits of irregular pneumatic compression with cold therapy. Used with a gel pack and PowerPlay compression pump, it helps diminish swelling/edema, decrease pain while promoting faster healing and muscle recovery, and stimulating blood flow.
These benefits of cold compression therapy amount to a faster and more pleasant recovery. This therapy can be applied to those suffering from minor joint pain, to major surgery rehabilitation (such as ACL surgery recovery) and anything in between. You can also benefit from a compression and cold therapy system for muscle recovery after training.
The PowerPlay system Alpha utilizes gives compression therapy to key body parts by way of Shoulder Wraps, Ankle Wraps, Knee Wraps, Elbow Wraps, Wrist Wraps and Hip Wrap.
