3 keys to creating your Performance Mindset

Some of the most successful athletes have a strong Performance Mindset which enables them to achieve maximum results.

We don’t see the world as it IS, but instead we see the world as WE are. Our very thoughts influence the world around us everyday. And in sports, how we see ourselves greatly influences our Performance Mindset.

The right Performance Mindset is critical for successful performances.

Here are 3 Keys for creating a great Performance Mindset:

* Be prepared. The more prepared we are through training and practice sessions, the more our Performance Mindset will be built towards a successful performance.

* Trade perfection for proficient. It’s not about being perfect, is about being proficient. Don’t focus on being flawless, focus on being proficient in what you do.

* Remember it’s all about the process. Of course the end result matters, but the process along the way should be a main focus too. Keeping focused on the process helps create a Performance Mindset to achieve the end result your looking for.
